Intego: 2011 offered bumper crop of Mac malware
One of Apple's chief advantages in the personal computing market has been that its Mac computers have been relatively impervious to viruses and malware, at least when compared to Windows-based PCs. Apple earnings: $97.6 billion in the bank, and other highlights
Apple reported a boost in sales of iPads, iPhones and Mac computers (but not iPods), pushing it into a record quarterly revenue of $46.33 billion and $6 billion in profit for the first quarter of the company's 2012 fiscal year.
