Tough time for iPad knockoffs

Two new tablet computers based on Google's ( GOOG ) Android operating system -- one from Samsung, the other by Toshiba -- were introduced at a trade show in Berlin this week, part of a wave of knockoff designs inspired by Apple's ( AAPL ) iPad.

Autodesk announced on August 31 that it has released AutoCAD 2011 for Macintosh, along with AutoCAD WS, a mobile app that will allow users to share their AutoCAD designs in the field using iPhones, iPads, and iTouches.
